sorry Moose has LP in both legs. My Morgan does too, although she is not in pain like Moose or show the signs of problems like he does.
I used to work for two orthopedic surgeons so i saw LP surgery everyday, sometimes multiple times a day. Personally, if both legs are a problem, i would have them done at the same time. Its honestly not that bad on them. Sometimes they cannot walk the day after surgery or they need help but usually by day two they have figured it out. If they have problems walking on their own the surgeon will usually keep them an extra day so they get more injectable pain meds and help from the surgical techs which is great. The recovery time for LP surgery is at least 6 weeks, when doing one or both legs. So you can either get one leg done, pay at least $3000, have 6 weeks of recovery and then pay another $3000 to do the second knee and have another 6 weeks of recovery. Or you can have both legs done, pay $3500-4000, have 6-8 weeks of recovery and then be done with it. i prefer the later. those prices are just an estimate of the cost in my area, where you go it might be the same or less.
