Hi everyone,
My sweet little Moose has been diagnosed with LP in
both back legs, grade 3-4 in the right and grade 2 in the left.

Of course I am so upset and heartbroken to see him suffer this way. After many second opinions we have decided to go ahead with surgery and he has his first appointment with the surgeon on Monday, with surgery probably happening in the next week or so depending on the surgeon's reccomendation.
I am already thinking ahead for tips/help on dealing with the long recovery period. I want Moose to heal and rest but would also like to keep him entertained as well to keep his mental spirits up during this painful time for him.

He is (was) a very active dog, just a little over a year old and thrives off of our play/walks/cuddle time with him so I want to make sure he keeps his happy and playful personality even during this tough time.
Any tips on toys or games that helped to keep your baby happy during after LP surgery?
P.S.. I know I will be posting more questions Monday after his first appointment with the surgeon! I am SO eager for information from those who've experienced this and ANY kind of info would help put my mind at ease! It's so wonderful to have everyone as a resource!
Thank you!!
