My Bayley is coming into heat every 8 months which the doctor thinks is fine with her being so small. She's about 5 lbs. Her 3rd heat is coming up and I plan to breed her. This will be the one and only time. My daughter would like a puppy so that is our purpose. We have a nice healthy male dog that weights right at 3 lbs. I have been told finding a smaller male is important. We do not know what the usual fashion is though as for the "stud fee". they may want pick of the liter which is fine, as long as she has more than 1 - if she only has one it is for my daughter. How do we work this out? D we say pick unless there's only one and then we give you $? If so, how much? I'd appreciate any and all info/advice you can give. Thanks.
