I have a similar problem, but mine is digging in the carpet and yard instead of chewing the carpet. Any suggestions? I'm thinking about a sand box like I've seen them do on tv lots of times. I was thinking about getting a short plastic bin for easy storage (the ones you can roll under your bed) and filling it with sand and taking it in the back yard and letting him dig in it for a while then roll it into the garage when playtime is over. Any suggestions has anybody else used the sandbox method for digging?
