He was hopping and chewing it all over, and then all of the sudden he started humping it!! I was so shocked! He is only 11 weeks! Is this normal?? |

Lol, it cracked me up to see Joey do this and he had a favorite red teddy bear, called "Big Red" that he just loved. Joey was neutered around 7 months of age, and about 1 month after that the humping stopped. Some breeders say that their unneutered dogs do it too much and they take away the affectionate object. Most dogs stop this behavior once neutered. |

Way back in post 1, 2, and 3 I thought the OPer's question was addressed and answered. It is normal behavior, it is a sign of dominance and neutering will stop the behavior. So why has this turned into a circus?
Seriously, there was a joke made after the issue was addressed and for 2 days there has been an ongoing argument that humping is wrong, blah, blah, blah. I thought it was already addressed way back in post #2.

We were even enlightened about how humping by a small puppy will help the testicles descend.
I am
really starting to think there is some type of hidden agenda going on in the deep dark closet of YT?
