Hahahah thank you for bringing it up! It brought some humor into my late night that was kind of stressed due to a very sick pup....

For the record: I do not find normal dog behavior to be disgusting and don't know how someone could say they could not even pick a dog up because it humped toys.

A puppy is too young in my opinion to be hearing too many no's. There is plenty of time to watch him and see if the behavior continues. This might have just been a passing thing.

The only way I would consider humping "disgusting" is if done by humans in public. Yes, it would be unwanted behavior in a pup, but there is plenty of time to watch your baby to see if he is going to continue it...and then you can work with him to change this. Any time I say "no" to a puppy, I give them an acceptable behavior as a substitute...in other words I distract them.
