I'm glad that you have thought about all of the cost, time, etc. before jumping in and getting another puppy. Has Layla ever had puppy friends over? If not, I would want to see how she reacts to others being in her territory. I just think that it would make the transition easier, but I'm sure that others may have not had friends over before introducing another sibling. If she has had friends over and is fine and loves to play with them, and the condo board agrees, then yes, I would go ahead and get her a buddy. Sasha is an olny child (although she's only 5 months old) but in about a year or 2 if all goes well, I think I would want another furbaby also. I'm just getting started in dog shows. She likes when Kelsey (cousin) comes over to play. She also likes the cats in the neighbor hood and wants to play with them too, (doesn't bark or chase)but I don't think that the cats like her. lol.
