Remy is 14 months and not fixed. He has been lifting his leg since about 6 months. He does not mark inside, which includes my home, the office, my parents and a good friend who are his sitters.

His is (or was) pee-pad trained. During training he has two places in my house where he frequently had accidents, but with a great deal of policing we broke those habits. Anyhow, since he turned 1 year old it is almost like he decided he "outgrew" pee-pads and refused to use them. He just held it until I took him outside. Now our routine is entirely outside.

When he was using pee pads, he did lift his leg. In order to manage that, I bought human incontinence pads (for in-bed use). They are a lot bigger than doggies pee pads. The pad was located in my bathroom, and would be folded halfway up the doorway, to form an "L". Worked perfectly, he never missed.

Overall, potty training with him has been actually very easy. Not at all consistent with the "yorkie reputation"
