Neither of my boys (16 and 11 months) is fixed, and they both do lift their legs to pee - most of the time. Tank will just squat in the mornings, I'm assuming because he has to go so badly, haha. They do know better than to even consider peeing in the house, and they know outside is the ONLY ok place to do it. I think as long as they are taught where is and isn't ok, the peeing thing isn't a huge deal. My boys were very easy to train - they both learned sit, lay down, and touch in about 5 minutes for each trick. Just be prepared to use lots of little training treats
