 Is my little girl in her first heat ????
My little girl will be 1 year old on October 15,2009 She has started to spot little drops of blood where she sleeps and her private area is very swollen and has been for about 6 days now.
Is this her being in heat or do you think there is another problem, I am a first time Toy Yorkie owner and she is the angel of my life.
What should I do or what can I do the make sure she is very comfortable during this time...I am also extremely afraid to have her fixed because I have heard of nitemear stories about putting these little guys under during the operation. Please let me know whats best for her...
She is very small....3 pounds and 11 months old.
