There are gates that have clear acrylic instead of lattice which makes it easy for the fluff butts to climb. I'd hate for her to injure her leg and end up with luxating patella or torn acl. When I was traning lexie I kept her sleeping crate inside of the exercise pen a few steps away from the crate was the pipi pad, this whole setup was placed on top of a thick clear plastic found at hobby lobby or joanns, so if she missed the pad, it was easy to clean up.
