The first time (years ago) that I read about this on YT, I questioned my vet about the lepto issue. He assured me that in our area, we definitely want our dogs to be vaccinated against it. That just goes to show that it's not safe to assume that just because people say "lepto is bad", you should take their word for it. Having a very good relationship with your vet is best all around but I do understand that vets don't always agree with the research regarding overvaccination. For now (until proven differently), mine get the lepto vaccination.
