my yorkie is 3 years old and free feeds. it doesn't matter how old they are.

the parents weight doesn't dictate the puppies weight. you can have parents that weigh 5 lbs and get a puppy that weighs 14 or 3. doesn't matter.

again, if he hasn't had a hypo incident by now he's probably not going to have one. as long as he's eating well he doesn't need the nutrical or karo syrup at all.

standing on the scale with your dog is not an accurate way to weigh something that small. so the 3lb weight the vet gave you is probably not accurate...
