It is probably not blood more like fluid from the area where the stitch is being rejected and pushed from the body. Is it an actual "cut" or a seperation of the skin in the area? Right now I have this same thing going on with a leftover stitch in MY wrist that my body has been trying to reject for several MONTHS! The area is raised and there is a tiny spot with a hole and slight discharge which can be a reddish ting color. If there is actual blood coming from the area then you need to contact the vet. If you look closely do you see a purple color thread peaking out anywhere in the area?
