I know lots of people like the bagless vacuums, but with allergies, I think it's best to get something with a bag, there are bags that you can buy that keep in 99% of the allergens, and that's important, otherwise they keep going back into the air, and land on surfaces again. Usually, it's the emptying of the bagless kind that gives people difficulties, even those with the HEPA filters.
