To be honest, I'm a little confused/offended by the tone of these messages...I'm a newcomer to this site, and again, I'm looking for advice because I love my yorkie and would love to have a little piece of him when he is gone. I would hope others can relate. I guess I'm just shocked that someone would assume I just want to breed my dog in a willy-nilly fashion that is offensive to the AKC. As breeders, I understand you're concerned about the integrity of your profession. As an attorney, however, I also know there is a way to convey your message without being rude or patronizing to someone. I'm also appalled that someone would tell me to neuter my dog just because he weighs over 7 lbs. I love my dog regardless of his size. Perhaps I should delete my account. |
