Quite a few vet offices can do a full blood panel with CBC in-house which is what we have done preop for Ellie. However, per Ellie's vet, the CBC may be more accurate if sent out (especially the platelets). So if there is ever a concern about that type of thing, it may be worth sending out. I suppose this depends on what your vet is comfortable with. Bile acids testing can be done in-house or sent out, but it is much less accurate in-house and I wouldn't waste my money on it.
