What did the vet tell you was causing the bumps??? When we first got Tootsie she was itching like crazy~but no bumps at first!!! Breeder was feeding her Purina Puppy Chow. We put her on Iams~still itchy! We took her to the vet and he told us she had allergies!!!
She ended up with Staph infection from scratching so much. She had to be put on antibiotics and a half tablet of Zyrtec daily...
So after talking with some people on YT-I decided to change her food! I put her on Natural Balance Limited Ingrediant Sweet Potato & Venison!!! It is an allergy free formula..Also, changed her shampoo & conditioner to Biogroom Anti-itch Oatmeal (shampoo) and Silk (conditioner).
It has taken about 8 weeks but she is now off of the Zyrtec and has stopped the itching...
dwerten on YT was a great help-you might want to pm her for some advice. She also has a baby with allergies!!
