 thank god for harnesses
early this morning while walkin lexi before going to work around 630am,
still dark out, waiting for her to do her business, strolling down my own block, out comes 2 other dogs running like crazy to get lexi.. omg!!! i just spotted them while they were like2 feet away from her.. the owner, a neighbor was then screaming for them.. i swooped lexi up so so fast and turned my back against them, didnt care about myself at that time.. lexi was going nuts in my arms. thank god for my quick thinking and thank god for that harness, i was able to get her up to my chest area and hold her there tight as hell. i guess
10 lbs felt really light at the time.. all my strength was in that leash.
my neighbor appologized, but dam it, keep your dogs on a leash . whats wrong with people? |
