my dog had 2 episodes due to HGE; they had to put her on IV for 2 days in the ER and some IV meds; then they sent her home with antibiotics and zantac to settle her stomach. also i had to feed her a bland diet for a while; boiled chicken and rice or baby gerber food.
i know this might sound weird but its working; now she eats 4 small meals a day; 2 meals of baby food gerber with oatmeal and 2 meals of the honest kitchen force formula; she loves it and she's been doing good so far. of course i add digestive enzymes, probiotic, vitamins and homeopet upset stomach drop; and she hasn't vomited after that.
