Honestly some don't even have their teeth yet at 8 weeks. Some have problems learning to eat, some are too scared to eat at a new home. Hypoglycemia is a big problem when they are younger. If you don't know what to look for, or what to do, they could die.. or the very least have an expensive Vet trip. I let Mom wean, so some don't wean until 10 weeks or so, and they stay with Mom until they are 12 weeks and going to their new home. Then there's Vaccinations. Your baby will not be protected at that age. Socialization is important with their mom and siblings, but there are many other factors too. I would question this breeder as well.
