I would like to know if anyone can see anything wrong with the tooth since we don't. Rusty is only 2 and half years old and we do whatever we can to keep his teeth healthy.

Last year a tooth was also extracted, but this time it was because it was crooked or something like that. I just don't want my 2 year old baby to have no teeth by the time he's 5.

Oh...and usually they do not tell you about an extraction before...they don't know until they are in the mouth. You could, in the future ask them to call during the dental, but I don't know what good that would do.

I just want to make sure this Vet is not extracting teeth just to make few hundred dollars more.

All your responses will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you all.
He is very young to lose teeth, but sometimes they do have problems. Yorkies are notorious for bad teeth. Sounds like you are doing the best you can by getting dentals done yearly. I have been adding that CET solution to my pups' water...that is supposed to help keep the bacteria down.

I seriously doubt any vet would extract a tooth for money. And...couple of hundred? Please dont tell me he charged that for ONE tooth. yikes..I hope not! My vet charges $12/tooth.

I would voice my concerns with the vet...go back and have him explain this to you thoroughly and show you the hole he said is there! You are a paying client and are entitled to such!

Good luck!
