Sydney is a biter, too. We're working on it. She didn't like having her harness put on at first, but it is necessary to get your puppy use to it and the leash.
As for the biting, try to distract her with a chew toy, or spray her in the mouth. There is special spray just for it. As for the harness, maybe wear gloves when putting it on him??? The other thing to do is perhaps take him someplace fun so he'll associate the harness with fun. That's one thing I did with Sydney. As soon as I pull out her backpack, she's trying to jump inside (her harness attaches to it).

Thank you. I will try this. Rebel came to us through his mommy, we brought Miracle (his mom) into our home a week before she gave birth to him and we just couldn't give him to another family because he wanted to stay as much as we wanted him to, but BOY is he fisty. I thought if he could see his mommy have one on that would help also, so I am going to try that too.
