We see a Vet Derm and I'm rather surprised that if you're seeing a Derm too, Atopica hasn't at least been mentioned. At first it is more expensive bc you give it every day - then *most* dogs can proceed to a maintenance dose of 2-3x per week (much more affordable). At my Derm's office, it is $25 for 15 pills.

Marcel is currently being dosed 3xweek. When we first started w/ him, I saw relief w/in 8 days, it was unreal. His main symptom was paw chewing/licking - and I'd say it went from an 8/10 - to now at 1-2/10. He used to wake up at 1am to chew his paws .
