How old is Nick? My 3 yr. old Jack Russell does the same thing...BUT...recently, I guess after seeing Zoe scarf them down, he's decided to try little bites! I still don't think he loves it. I have bought the NV Instinct for him, which is probably the next best thing. He LOVES the kibble.
As for Daisy bringing it to her bed - trying breaking it up in little pieces (which then end up kind of smooshy) with a fork. Zoe, when she accesses Kramer's kibble, will take a piece and then run to her bed. But with the medallions, because she loves them and because they're kind of smooshed up, she just gobbles them down where she's at.
