Default possible shunt

I lost a Yorkie, his name was Bear, at 12 weeks due to Liver Shunt and Hydrocephalis (water on the brain). I had bought him from a pet store (before I knew @ puppy mills). He would twitch the head alot and walk down the length of a wall until he got to the corner and his head would touch the wall, he would turn and walk until his head touched the wall again, he would just keep doing this going in a square pattern. He had a few seizures as well. We took him to the emergency vet at 1;30 am when he had the first seizure. He was there 6 days and died when he had a second seizure on day 6. I only had him three weeks and it was heartbreaking. Bear was not real small like your Mother's is but he sure had a awful time before he died. They did everything they could for him, and he was blind & deaf after the second seizure, he lived only 4 hours after the second one, despite the efforts of the hospital. It was God's way, I guess. I hope your mom's baby will be okay.
