I'm doing exactly what you're talking about. I have the play pen surrounding her crate with the crate door open. She comes out to pee (still working on the poo) on the pee pad when she needs to. My goal is to train her indoors due to the cold Chicago winters so it works out perfectly.
Also, when she's being overly hyper and biting everybody and everything I put her in the playpen for time-outs. Great investment! |
