One thing i have learned is that my yorki never likes the smell of his own poop. He poops on the pad often, but has peeing issues. I noticed that if he poops he will cry and cry intill i come and remove the poop from the pad and throw it in the toilet. He never poops when im not home. In the beginning he ate his own poop, then i started removing it right away and thats when i realised that the smell is the issue. I say keep him locked inside the pen and eventually he'll poop and when he does say good boy and remove it from the pad. If you remove it right away everytime i'm sure he'll start pooping on the pad.
