The law is the law, blah, blah, blah.....they aren't investigated anyway. The only time the law comes into play is when the rabies vaccine is given and they send the info to Animal Control....then Animal Control steps in with their hand out for registration/license fee. |
i remember when i worked at the animal shelter we had books upon books filled with rabies and license numbers. didnt know how we got them at the time but they were helpful when searching for owners when dogs came in with tags. i think a lot of the hospitals in my town give the info to animal control. i worked at two of them and we did give clients the rabies tag so i guess that info went to AC as well.
