It does sounds as thought she is asserting domimance over your new puppy. When I brought Doodlebug home last summer Pebbles was horrible. Every time she was in the room with Dbugs all she would do was drool and bark in a very high pitched bark. It took several weeks before things calmed down. When I added Bogey shortly after that Dbug and Bog got along instantly but Pebbles will still get into his face and just bark. It all depends on their personalities and it will take a little time for everyone to adjust.
