When our Lhasa Poo got fall allergies she'd chew one back leg so bad it would be a sore. We tried Benadryl but ended up taking her to the vet to have it wrapped and put her on steroids every fall. It worked well but she'd drink so much on the steroids she'd have accidents sometimes till the allergy time passed and we took her off them. It was just for awhile every fall till she got older we had to do this. She stopped having the allergy when she was older.
