A clear mucus discharge is normal for a pregnant female. As she gets closer to delivery the discharge can get more noticeable. Keeping the hair on the vulva area trimmed short will help keep the area cleaner. Some females that carry big litters will get so fat that they cannot lick their vulva so with those moms it is sometimes necessary to keep the vulva clean with a damp washrag. |
