Same here, several years ago I found a momma cat and kittens. They had fleas and I didn't want to bring fleas into my house. The vet told me to do the same thing and it worked just fine. Seems like he just told me to put a couple drops of Frontline on each kitten and the rest of the tube/dose on Momma, and I don't remember doing the bath, but maybe it is because they were cats.
