You also stated her ph was high. Eating a diet high in carbohydrates; vegetables and grains, increase the ph level and allows bacteria to grow and develop in their bladder.Complete Proteins, such as those found in meat, increase the acidic quality of their urine. I would check the ingredients of her kibble or what you are feeding her and see if the first 5 contain corn, or its byproducts or grains. This could account for the ph level . So the infection could be a secondary issue to a more complicated underlying problem.

Definitely speak with a vet you feel comfortable with and/or a holistic doctor who is educated in internal medicine. Even a nutritionist at this point could be of some help.

i agree as i think diet has alot to do with this -- what are you feeding and i know some use cranberry supplements for uti but hopefully someone on here will answer or make a thread called UTI and cranberry supplements and you can consult with ims or vet with that info but you need to rule out stones with ultrasound. Has your dog been bile acid tested as stones can be from liver issues- was blood work normal and did they do a culture of the bacteria in urine to determine what antibiotic would kill the infection? as i just had this done on skin and it is very detailed and tells you what the bacteria is resistent to -- clavamox should work in uti -- what antibiotic did they give you
