My mothers will do the same thing during the second week. Keep in mind that as the pups get stronger, they can drain the milk in a matter of 3 to 4 minutes of nursing. Is she licking them and cleaning them? Is she coming to check on them often? If so, then she is just taking a break from motherhood duties and I wouldn't worry about it. |
