| I was wondering the same thing when my Poppy was a tiny puppy.
The vet said it depends on genetics and the size of the parents, although I've read conflicting articles about this on the internet.
I looked at this chart: Yorkshire Terrier - Yorkie Puppy Growth/Weight Chart - watch us grow
Poppy was exactly 2lbs at 13 weeks.
Now at 23 weeks, she's 4lbs... (I suspect a little more and a lazy vet nurse doing the weighing) so I really don't think this chart is an exact science.
Her mom was six pounds, her dad was five...so I'm assuming she'll level out around there. Every time I ask our vet, I get the run-around saying not to count her as "full grown" until 1 year, although usually by 6 months, they won't grow any larger. I'm not sure how accurate this is, either.
I'd be interested in seeing experienced replies!
