My sister gave me this great idea when I switched from bully sticks to Chewzies. I was nervous Eva would choke, or get clogged intestines on the little pieces she sometimes pulled off. So my sister suggested having scissors nearby and just trimming the soft stuff off every so often as Eva chews it.

It works so well and I just hand it back to Eva and she just works at it some more but never really gets anything off. I feel much better about giving them to her and she still gets to have her favorite treat.
