here in Masterton New Zealand we have to have our dogs chipped as part of the registration process but if the local dog patrol found a dog without its registration tag they put them in pound for 1 week before they are destroyed, they will not scan to see who owner is, so all dog owner here think its a waste of time if they wont scan a lost dog and my baby has his tag on his harness and he only wears his harness when we go out, fingers crossed I never loose him. |
