my 1 year old yorkie shakes, pants and yawns (all signs I've read about that are showing anxiety)when riding in the car. we are planning on driving quite a long distance to spend a month in a warmer state for a month and then drive back, at least 3 days there then 3 days back. has anyone tried a sedative from their vet for calming a yorkie down? what was it? did it work?

Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
