Leo is almost 2 now and he certainly would rather me be by his side all day long, but he doesn't get upset when I leave. I usually will give him a treat and say mommy will be right back. He used to bark and bark and bark when I left...so hopefully Bella will learn in time as Leo did. Maybe try the treat and saying you will be right back ... that seemed to do the trick. Although Leo is smart and now he knows that when I am giving him a treat just because I am leaving and half the time he will spit it out and refuse to eat it....spoiled little thing.
