The vet here gives me a little brochure type card with all of the vaccination dates and the little labels as well. So the vet would most likely write October X, 2010 for the next year's vaccine.
I actually was worried when I flew with her home the first time last year. She was supposed to have the vaccine sometime in November, if we followed the schedule the vet had set up. That date was written down on her vaccination card. But since it needed to be done 30 days before, I had it done at the end of October. The vet just wrote down October 31, 2009 next to the November date. I didn't get any drama at customs, which was what was really worrying me. The vet said how it was written shouldn't give me any problems..and he was right.
