This afternoon Kandi suddenly became very lethargic, had very rapid breathing, trouble walking and a very slow heart rate. We took her to the vet immediately and they think it's a toxic poisoning of some kind. They suspect that she found a high blood pressure pill or something. They have been giving her IV fluids all afternoon and she's perked up a lot, but she's still not out of the woods. We're going to get her at 5:30 so that we can watch her overnight and take her to the ER vet tonight if it gets bad again.

I feel awful! I am always careful about medicine, so I don't know how this happened! I'm scared and worried about her. Please send us some good thoughts tonight.
