My deepest sympathies to you and your family for the loss of your father and Levi.

There may be a possibility that his heart might be in a slightly different location than most. I'm surprised that your vet didn't get an xray right away. And yes , my dog has a large heart compared to the size of his chest cavity. Due for another xray next week.
