How do you respond to a potential buyer of one of your pups in that manner? I dont think i was asking to much, and response back to me when I explained was that there are many scammers out there? By asking if she had a health guarantee, and may i view it? and more pics of the puppies and parents? she can describe them over the phone to me, and she could tell me all we wants about her health guarantee, but before i buy, i would like to see it, am i wrong? or is this how all breeders conduct theirselves? i emailed her, explained what we were looking for, told her about me and my wife, and all i get is "call me and i can and i can give it to you?" I would completely stay away from breeders like this, i read a book on what to ask a breeder when buying a new puppy, and this is an alarm set off, she was very rude when writing back, i feel like she has something to hide! she said if i was serious to call her? i dont want to waste my time bc people can speak in a way that they can basically sell you on it before seeing it, so i wanted more pics and to look over a health warranty before i took the next step of contacting her, i ask about her lineage, pedigree, health, and pictures, was i asking for to much? especially since this was going to be a family memeber and the cost was 2000.00 for the pup? we are still looking, but i just want to make sure that im not asking the wrong questions..any help would be greatly appreciated. |
I do not have one of her puppies but I do know 2 people who DO have her puppies and they are GORGEOUS and HEALTHY. Both have nothing but good to say about her and her puppies. It is really difficult to "hear" tone and intent in a typed message. My interpretation of "Call me and I will give it to you" will be comepletely different than yours. That is exactly what I would have said as well. The biggest reason is because I am not a typist and it takes a lot of effort to type out an email with all of the information on it. I would rather talk to a person and get a feel for whether they truly are a candidate to parent one of my babies, before I sent all of the information to them. She is just screening. Just imagine if 5 people have emailed her asking for the same things. That is a lot of work and talking to them over the phone first will help her to screen you and help you to screen her. Give Tanoe a chance. I think you will be pleased. |
