Every pet owner needs to read this. I'm writing to everyone that cared enough to either respond or look for my Shai. She has been missing since Sept. 18th in Stoughton, Ma. I reported her missing to the 24 dog watch with the micro chip and called the pound on the week-end of the 19th by leaving a message regarding her missing. I gave everything that a professional person needed for a good description of my dog. On Monday 21, I called an spoke to the Stoughton dog officer. Again was told no such dog was found and that she would notify me if one comes in. I drove up to the area over and over for 2 weeks. Knocked on door after door asking neighbors if they say her. Called this went on for 2 weeks. Continue to look and put adds on Craigs list for south of Boson area. Today Thursday Oct. 1, I again made a trip up to Stoughton and again went knocking on doors to see if anyone saw her. Nothing. I called the microchip company again for the 3rd time and asked but this time they told me to call homes for pets. I called there and found out that my dog was reported on Sept. 18th by the STOUGHTON DOG OFFICER. THE EXACT SAME PERSON THAT I HAVE BEEN CALLING FOR MY DOG. THE EXACT SAME PERSON THAT TOLD ME OVER AND OVER THAT SHE DID NOT HAVE HER. THE EXACT SAME PERSON THAT TOLD ME TO SHOW HER RESPECT WHEN MY VOICE BECAME HIGH DUE TO MISS INFORMATION SHE WAS GIVING ME. THE EXACT SAME PERSON THAT LIED TO ME OVER AND OVER AGAIN. I DEMANDED MY DOG BACK. I TOLD HER I WOULDN'T PRESS ANY CHARGES AGAINST HER IF SHE GIVES ME BACK MY DOG. GUESS WHAT I LIED!!!!! I CALLED THE POLICE CHIEF UP AND TOLD HIM WHAT HAPPENED. HE ASKED ME TO COME TO HIS OFFICE. I AGAIN DROVE TO STOUGHTON FROM ROCHESTER, MA 40 MIN DRIVE. HE BROUGHT ME INTO HIS OFFICE AND AFTER I COMPLETED TELLING HIM THE STORY AND HIM VERIFYING WHAT I SAID HE LEFT AND BROUGHT IN MY DOG. I HAVE MY DOG BACK AND I AM MAKING SURE THAT PERSON WILL NEVER DO THA T AGAIN TO ANYONE ELSE. THAT DOG POUND OFFICER CALLED UP A FRIEND WHEN SHE FOUND MY DOG AND GAVE MY DOG TO HER FRIEND INSTEAD OF GIVING HER BACK TO ME. DON'T STOP LOOKING FOR YOUR PET. NEVER TAKE THEIR WORD ON ANYTHING WHEN IT COMES TO TOWN WORKERS. SHE WAS PUT IN A POSITION TO HELP OWNERS BUT INSTEAD SHE USED HER POSITION TO HELP HER FRIENDS. PLEASE PLEASE PASS THIS ON TO ANYONE THAT HAS LOST AN PET IN STOUGHTON. IF IT HAPPENED TO ME IT COULD HAPPEN TO SOMEONE ELSE. PLEASE PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD/
