Dosages seem to vary by who's telling you, even between vets.

I think I was told 2 ml per lb. then I found what appeared to be good information on the web that had a dose that was a range which was wide.

I admit, when our Sophie was in heat, for the first time, I went against my better judgement for Charlies sake and gave him a dose hoping he would calm down for a while. He's all but quit eating so I was hand feeding him and had to put water in front of him to drink and almost lost his "bark". He sounded horrible but still did not give up.

I know people that use it for road trips to calm their dogs and they say it works well (wrong, I know) I tried 2-3 ml per lb which should have calmed him but did nothing at all. He hated it worse than any other meds in the past. Even using a technique the Vet showed me, I almost couldn't get it down. I think they just don't like the stuff. After-all, it's for people and flavored for kids to like, not animals.

I like the yogurt idea.
