First, welcome to YT...I'm sure you'll love it here. Second, regardless of what age they begin their heat, you should not breed them the first time around. The second-heat rule is due to 2 factors, 1) giving the dog time to fully mature and outgrow being a puppy and 2) with the first heat, the dog's hormones are not fully in balance enough to make carrying a litter healthy.
