Was thinking about this for a few days.....for those of us interested in animal welfare, maybe we can post things more often to continue to bring attention to this issue.
Maybe it's a post like the OPs, maybe it's just a quote, or new statistics, or a passage you read, or something that keeps you motivated to continue helping (and avoiding feeling that helplessness that can set in at times).
I was thinking we could have a name for it, like, DAWG=Daily Animal Welfare Gab or something? I couldn't think of a better word for the "G" part there

For example, you'd put in the thread title "DAWG: New Shelter Stats just released" or whatever. Maybe we let it sit in General for awhile, but then move it to ANimal Welfare section (which I'm not sure enough folks read) for keeping.
Anyway...just an idea...as I do like seeing
more posts about animal welfare.
