I've only had the harness and leash for a couple months, but it's doing well so far. I have noticed a little wear on the harness but nothing bad. I'd maybe take a look at some of the reviews in the other part of the forum for Chattiesmom's harnesses and maybe contact some other reviewers via private message. They may be able to tell you how well it stands up over a longer period of time.
