 My experience
I prefer to mix foods. I always use Natural Balance and I was mixing with Chicken Soup for the puppy lover's soul. Well I heard and read about canidae, so I decided to switch from Chicken Soup to Canidae, still mixing with Natural Balance. I didn't notice weight gain but their poops were seedy..there was little yellow crumbs in their poop just like the food has. It was a softer too. So after months of using the Canidae, I switched back to mixing Chicken Soup with natural Balance and Vioala..the poops are back to normal. Again, I didn't notice weight gain, but the stool was different.
